Do I need to hold BabyDoge to donate?
No. Card, PayPal and crypto are all accepted. The token is a tool, not a toll gate — the rescue effort is open to anyone.
Do shelters receive cash?
No. We purchase food, medicine and veterinary services from verified suppliers and ship them directly to the shelter. This removes the single biggest failure mode in animal charity.
How is a shelter verified?
Registration documents, a site visit or live video walkthrough, and a named contact who signs off on every delivery. Shelters that miss two reporting cycles are removed from the network.
What about the Guinness World Records title?
On 20 May 2023, together with Best Friends Animal Society, the BabyDoge community set the Guinness World Records title for the largest donation of pet food in 24 hours — 36,750.88 kg (81,021 lb of pet food) in Bentonville, Arkansas, USA. Distributed to 30+ Arkansas shelters, foster carers and local pet owners. The title has since been surpassed by another organization, which does not change what was delivered that day.

Is $1.5M+ the audited total?
No. $1.5M+ is the figure BabyDoge reports publicly for all animal charity giving. $1,015,000 of it can be itemised by receiving organization with a public source — that is what the donation records page lists. The gap is money given through campaigns that never published an organization-level number, not extra money we are claiming.
